This commission was the first gained for me by Nick Hull (see portrait 005). Nick is an Office Furniture salesman; Graham owned the company in High Wycombe that Nick worked for at the time.
This is a triple portrait, since they specifically asked for the car (Austin Healey 3000 Mark II) to be included.
The markings on the car were taken from a photograph that I found on the Internet. I had to make up the shape of the back of the car. I added the bottle and tray in the foreground, in order to personalise it even more. Nick told me that their favourite drink is Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne.
The tray on which the drinks stand is a Silver Salver that I won for portrait 011 Harry Bennett.
